I-TECH in South Africa has helped strengthen in-service learning platforms for the training and professional development of health care workers, including SkillSMART and the Knowledge Hub.
I-TECH helped to facilitate the transition of SkillsSMART database for tracking in-service trainings to South Africa Human Resources Development (HRD) directorate at the National Department of Health (NDoH) and provided support the Human Resources Inventory Database (HRID) in the capture of human resources data. To continue supporting HRID, I-TECH helped lead data collection and analysis of human resources data and incorporate data visualization processes to facilitate rapid assessments.
