This website of learning and training tools on the topic of management and leadership is designed to support global health leaders and managers. It includes more than 300 original videos clips as well as curriculum materials suitable for use in classroom trainings, distance learning programs, and as tools for self-reflection.
Whenever possible, I-TECH shares the e-learning resources that it develops for local or global projects. Those resources are listed here, including links to the monthly Clinical Education Modules.
The Training Evaluation Framework and Tools (TEFT) presents a useful framework and easy-to-use tools to guide program evaluators, implementers, and managers as they plan evaluations. The TEFT can help them determine which training outcomes to evaluate, select the scope of their evaluation, and consider additional or confounding factors. This project includes a clear introduction to the tools, case studies, a literature review, and many other resources.
The Leaders in Health e-learning modules are part of an innovative course developed by I-TECH for delivery by the Namibia Ministry of Health to their leaders and managers nationwide.
The Training System Monitoring and Reporting Tool (TrainSMART) is I-TECH's open-source, web-based training data collection system. It allows users to accurately track data about training programs, trainers, and trainees, to better evaluate programs and report activities to stakeholders. In addition to capturing training and participant data, TrainSMART has a robust reporting module.
The I-TECH Clinical Mentoring Toolkit is an easy-to-use CD-ROM and website of practical resources for clinical mentoring program planners, trainers of clinical mentors, and clinical mentors themselves. The toolkit includes a generic 3-day curriculum for training clinical mentors, and other resources and references on strategies for clinical teaching.
I-TECH’s Supervisor Toolbox was designed to help supervisors contribute to the success of their teams and I-TECH. The interaction and relationship between the employee and supervisor is critical to the employee’s performance and contribution to the team.
The I-TECH Training Toolkit CD-ROM and website offers over 250 practical resources for trainers. The toolkit leads users though key steps in training program development and offers case studies of successful programs.
I-TECH’s Technical Implementation Guides (TIGs) are a series of practical and instructional papers designed to support staff and partners in their efforts to create and maintain quality programs worldwide.

This multi-course certificate program is intended for middle- to senior-level clinical and public health laboratory leaders. Participants include laboratory managers and directors, medical technologists, health scientists, and physician scientists interested in improving medical laboratory operations and evidence-based health policymaking. Participants remain employed while participating in this program.
