Everyday Leadership
This website of learning and training tools on the topic of management and leadership is designed to support global health leaders and managers. It includes more than 300 original videos clips as well as curriculum materials suitable for use in classroom trainings, distance learning programs, and as tools for self-reflection.
Global Health Clinical Seminar Series
A bi-monthly distance learning series aimed at health care workers working in resource-limited settings worldwide. Expert clinicians present on a variety of care and treatment topics via live, interactive sessions broadcast over the internet free of charge to participating clinicians. These 60 minute sessions typically use a case based format during the live session and have a listserv that allows participants to engage in follow-up communication across sites after each session. Archived sessions are available for download. Most sessions are conducted in English.
Clinical Mentoring Toolkit
The I-TECH Clinical Mentoring Toolkit is an easy-to-use CD-ROM and website of practical resources for clinical mentoring program planners, trainers of clinical mentors, and clinical mentors themselves. The toolkit includes a generic 3-day curriculum for training clinical mentors, and other resources and references on strategies for clinical teaching.
TB Prevention Toolkit
This toolkit has been developed to assist facility level administrators and health care workers in communities with a high prevalence of both TB and HIV to implement TB infection prevention and control measures, using the “Three I’s” framework as articulated by the World Health Organization. The toolkit provides step-by-step guidance on strengthening TB infection control practices at the facility, intensifying case finding among HIV-infected patients, and incorporating isoniazid preventive therapy into the care and treatment provided to persons living with HIV.
Clinical Training Materials Database
This online database is a resources for trainers, program managers, and clinicians. Resources are indexed by topic or technical area, target audience, resource type, and other categories. New resources are added on an ongoing basis.
TrainSMART
The Training System Monitoring and Reporting Tool (TrainSMART) is I-TECH's open-source, web-based training data collection system. It allows users to accurately track data about training programs, trainers, and trainees, to better evaluate programs and report activities to stakeholders. In addition to capturing training and participant data, TrainSMART has a robust reporting module.
Training Toolkit
The I-TECH Training Toolkit CD-ROM and website offers over 250 practical resources for trainers. The toolkit leads users though key steps in training program development and offers case studies of successful programs.
Technical Implementation Guides
I-TECH’s Technical Implementation Guides (TIGs) are a series of practical and instructional papers designed to support staff and partners in their efforts to create and maintain quality programs worldwide.
