training sessionMentoring is a challenging task that requires flexibility, skill in coordinating disparate stakeholders, excellent communication and relationship-building skills, and the ability to cope with rapid change of direction, in addition to up-to-date clinical knowledge and teaching skills. This section includes a 3-day generic curriculum on basic mentoring skills to ensure that clinical mentors are well prepared for their work. The curriculum can be adapted to meet specific needs and to fit within the local context.
