Consultant Positions

Project Director, HRSA/QISSEC – Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of the Congo

I-TECH is seeking a Project Director to support the HRSA/Quality Improvement Solutions for Sustained Epidemic Control (QISSEC) project in Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). The Project Director will be the team focal point for the Principal Investigator (PI) and Seattle-based Management team, as well as represent the project to its partners, I-TECH Côte d’Ivoire, and stakeholders in DRC. This position shall be responsible for the day-to-day implementation of the project, participate in key stakeholder engagement, and liaise closely with HRSA. This is a consulting position with a negotiated hourly rate. The position is expected to last 6-12 months.

Healthcare Software Developer – Gaborone, Botswana

The Digital Initiatives Group at I-TECH (DIGI) at the University of Washington in Seattle, WA is seeking a full-time Healthcare Software Developer consultant to fulfill software development needs, for an anticipated period of six months (through September 2024). The Healthcare Software Developer will be responsible for technical development of clinical and public health information system tools and standards-based health information exchange architectures for the health sector in resource-limited settings. This position will be essential in leading the software engineering, quality assurance, and deployment support for these products. The position also supports the in-country counterparts in managing deployment, upgrade, and maintenance of software and technical products.
